James Hensley is an experienced and dedicated insurance agent with Senior Healthcare Direct, committed to guiding his clients through the complexities of life, health, and long-term care insurance. He believes in a philosophy of serving, not selling, ensuring every individual and family he works with finds peace of mind through personalized, comprehensive coverage.

James’s commitment to service was forged during his time as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army.  He deployed to Afghanistan is 2010 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom X and served as a Squad Automatic Rifleman in over 80 separate enemy engagements.  His military background instilled in him the discipline, integrity, and resilience required to navigate challenging situations and always put the well-being of others first. He carries these core values into his work every day, treating his clients with the same diligence and care he offered his fellow soldiers.

After his military service, James and embarked on a unique adventure, living in Costa Rica for a decade.  There he got married and had two children.  This experience provided him with a broad, global perspective on healthcare and financial planning, particularly for those approaching retirement or considering living abroad. Now rooted back in the local community, he leverages this extensive knowledge to offer a uniquely informed approach to insurance solutions.

James’s greatest professional fulfillment comes from improving the lives of senior citizens. He is passionate about helping them secure their financial futures and navigate the nuances of Medicare, retirement plans, and legacy protection. He takes the time to listen, understand their specific needs, and translate complex insurance jargon into clear, actionable advice.

When not in the office, James enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children.  He frequently takes them on vacations both inside the United States and abroad.  He is also an avid WWE fan and never missed the chance to go see a wrestling show with his family.
